The wooden boxes of X-Bason heavy equipment are all made of high-strength plywood, Angle iron and bolts, the side and end of the box are combined with the box plate of the frame structure, and the chassis is made of wooden boxes made of sliding wood structure. The frame box is a large wooden box, its maximum weight and maximum external size of the contents are determined according to the usual transport conditions. Generally speaking, the outer length of the frame wooden box is below 12m, the outer width is below 3.5m, the outer height is below 3.5m, and the weight of the internal contents is within 500-20000kg. This kind of wooden box is mainly used to pack large mechanical products, and can also be used to pack small goods. The frame wooden box is also composed of base, side, end and top cover. The difference between them in structure is that the box board of the frame wooden box is the vertical plate: the frame wooden box board is outside, and the skeleton is all arranged in the box; When assembling the frame wooden box, first install two sides on the base and two sides, and finally bind the top cover; Both are based on the base to load, but the frame wooden box is more than the slip wooden box on the end and side of the frame structure, it is because of these frame structures, so that the frame wooden box can withstand the load is much larger than the slip wooden box.


The frame wooden box can be divided into class I (internal frame wooden box) according to the structure: the frame member is on the inside of the box board, which is suitable for general contents; Class II (outer frame wooden box) : The frame structure is on the outside of the box board, which is suitable for the whole in the direction of length and has sufficient rigidity of the internal contents. The basic provisions of its design take into account the circulation conditions normally expected for transport, handling and storage.

ISPM(International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures) requires heat-treated solid wood to be packaged for export to reduce pests. But only solid wood products are regulated. Our wooden boxes are mainly made of OSB(directional particleboard) or plywood, and the raw materials are made by high temperature heating, which meets the export standard of ISPM15 specification, so there is no need for fumigation or heat treatment when exporting, and the customs clearance is short, timely and simple.

3. Wooden box structure
3.1 The structure of the wooden box should be scientific and reasonable, firm and safe, economic materials, beautiful appearance and marketable, and should adapt to the requirements of long-distance transportation and multiple loading and unloading, in the normal storage and transportation, loading and unloading conditions should ensure that the product from the date of shipment by the manufacturer, at least one year should not be due to box damage or serious deformation and affect the quality of the product.
3.2 The machine tool with a net weight greater than 500kg shall use a closed wooden box with a sliding wooden frame structure; Machine tools and accessories with a net weight of less than or equal to 500kg can be made of ordinary sliding wooden closed boxes or ordinary closed wooden cases.
3.3 The top of the wooden case should generally be flat top.
3.4 The dimensions and weight of the wooden box shall comply with the regulations of the transportation department concerning over-limit and overweight.
3.5 For machine tools transported in containers, the size and weight of wooden boxes shall comply with the provisions of GB1834 and GB1413 JB/T8356.2-96

4. Technical requirements
4.1 The wood used for box making shall be larch, masson pine, white pine, fir, spruce, and other tree species with equal or greater strength are also allowed.
4.2 The board used in the wooden box should be allowed to choose other materials in addition to wood under the premise of ensuring the strength of the box. The packaging of domestic machine tools is allowed to use alternative materials.
4.3 The moisture content of the wood used in the wooden box, the slip wood, the tie, the column should not be greater than 25%, and the plate should not be greater than 20%.
4.4 The wood used for stress components should be selected as first-class materials according to GB153.2 and GB4817.2, and second-class materials are allowed for non-stress components.
4.5 The use of plywood, bamboo plywood, hard fiber board, should comply with GB9846.4, GB13123, GB12626 provisions.
4.6 Wooden cases with sliding wood frame bamboo plywood closed box structure shall comply with JB/T6564 regulations. When magnesite concrete is used as wooden box for machine tools, it should comply with the provisions of ZBJ50015.
4.7 The exterior color of the same wooden box should be basically the same, and the appearance should be smooth.
4.8 Log Sliding
4.8.1 Sliding wood should be reasonably arranged according to the structure of the machine tool, the height should not exceed 200mm, and should try to use a whole wood, if more than 6m length, when the splicing position should not be in the center of the length or center of gravity.
4.8.2 There shall be no joints with a diameter exceeding 1/4 of the width on the slide, and the number of joints shall not exceed 5 in any 1m length.
4.8.3 Make a guide Angle of 35°~40° when the two ends of the slide are about 1/2 height from the bottom surface.
4.8.4 The size of the slide section (B×h) shall be based on the weight of the box and the distance L between the two lifting points on the slide.
4.8.5 If the packing weight is more than 10000kg, B and h shall be calculated according to the average length of slide occupied by the 10000kg weight.
4.8.6 Skis are allowed to be made of channel steel, hollow square steel or reinforced concrete, and their section dimensions shall be calculated according to the load capacity and the distance between two lifting points.
4.8.7 When forklift trucks are required to load and unload wooden cases, the fork entrance as shown in the figure is set at the bottom of the slide, and the dimensions of the forklift mouth are shown in the table.

4.8.8 When the box is long, in order to shorten the distance between the hanging fulcrum, the hanging rope hangers should be set under the sliding wood, and the spacing should not be less than 2/3 of the box length.
4.9 Sleepers
4.9.1 The section of the sleeper bearing the load shall be checked according to the total weight of the load and the allowable bending strength of the wood.
4.9.2 The two ends of the base are non-bearing sleepers, and the section of the base is generally the same as that of the slide.
4.9.3 Sleepers can be mounted on the bottom plate.
4.9.4 Sleepers shall be attached to the skids by bolts or steel nails as specified in Table 2.

4.10 Mainboard
4.10.1 When the net weight of the machine equipment is more than 5000kg and the machine tool is fixed on the load sleeper, the thickness of the bottom plate shall be 21~25mm.
4.10.2 When the bottom plate is used as tie, the thickness of the bottom plate shall be specified in Table 3.

4.10.3 When plywood is used as the bottom plate, it shall be carried by the sleeper, and the thickness of the bottom plate shall comply with the provisions of the relevant standards.
4.11 Framework
4.11.1 For a frame box with a load capacity of more than 1000kg, the structural form of the frame shall be selected according to the length, width and height of the box.
4.11.2 The column section dimensions of the frame may be obtained according to its height and allowable load.
Example: a machine packing wooden box, box length 6000mm, box width 2500mm, box height 1700mm, so the distance between the columns is 6000mm÷4=1500mm, the column allowable load P=5× 10-3BL =5× 10-3 ×2500×1500=18750N.
If the sum of sleeper and slide height is 400mm, the height of the column is 1700-400 =1300mm. According to the above calculation, the column section size should be 60mm×100mm.
4.11.3 The beam can be of the same section size as the column, and the beam support can be of 2/3 of the column section or of the same size as the column section.
4.11.4 Beams are allowed to be spliced, and the interface should be at the intersection of the support and the column.
4.12 Container Board
4.12.1 Thickness of carton plate.
4.12.2 The splicing form of the box board shall be tight according to the characteristics of the product.
4.12.3 The width of the box board shall not be less than 80mm.
4.12.4 The side plate should cover 2/3 of the height of the slide, and the box board should generally be placed vertically.
4.12.5 The color of the boxes used should be basically the same, and the surface should be flat.
4.13 Top of the box
4.13.1 In principle, the top square should be evenly arranged, and according to the inner width of the box, the beam supports can be added between the top square. The width of the beam brace is not small
At 50mm, the thickness is not less than 2/3 of the thickness of the top square.
4.13.2 The size of the top square section shall be measured according to the weight of the machine tool and the width of the box.
4.13.3 When the lifting rope just passes through the side upper frame wood, and the box is long, the top of the box shall be strengthened.

4.13.4 It is recommended to adopt a two-storey structure for the top plate. The inner top plate should be made of wood and laid along the direction of the box layer. The outer top plate can be made of plywood. If the plywood is selected, the inner and outer top joints should be staggered, and the joint position should be on the center line of the beam.
4.14 Reinforcement, ventilation and rain protection of wooden cases
4.14.15000kg or more wooden cases, the edges and corners should be equipped with edge iron or Angle iron, lifting rope should be equipped with lifting protection iron or slide protection iron

4.14.3 For non-moisture-proof wooden cases requiring ventilation, general holes shall be set up above both ends of the boxes, and window screens and rainproof covers shall be provided on the outer walls of the ventilation holes.
4.14.4 Wooden cases must be waterproof. When wood is used as the wall of the box, the inner wall should be lined with a layer of polyethylene low-foam waterproof barrier film or other waterproof materials with good performance; When plywood is used as the wall of the box, waterproof measures should be taken.
4.14.5 As far as possible, the waterproof material should be used in one piece. If it is necessary to splice, it should be bonded or heat-bonded welding.
4.14.6 Waterproof measures must be taken for the top cover of the box, and polyethylene low-foaming waterproof barrier film or other waterproof materials with good performance should be laid
4.15 Laying nails
4.15.1 The distance between the steel nails and the wooden edge should not be less than 20mm, the nails should be staggered, the nail head should not protricate from the outer surface of the box (except for the nails used for bamboo plywood), and the steel nails should not be bent and nailed at the joint of the box frame.
4.15.2 Round steel nails used shall comply with the provisions of GB349.
